We are an aerial photography company based in Maids Moreton, just outside Buckingham, and have been flying commercially since 2018.
Most of our work is photographing places: the buildings, grounds and settings that people visit, stay in and hire.
Venues, hotels and historic houses
If you run a venue, the aerial shot is usually the one doing the most work on your website, because it is the only one that answers the question everybody asks first, which is what the place is actually like.
A ground photograph shows a room. An aerial photograph shows the house and its gardens together, where the marquee goes, how the lawn sits against the building, where guests arrive and park, and what the view is from the terrace. For a couple choosing between two venues from a laptop, that is most of the decision.
The same applies to a hotel with grounds, a garden that is open to visitors, or a house that opens for part of the year. They are also yours. Nobody else has the same photograph of your building, which is not true of a stock interior.
We can also shoot the building through the seasons if you want a set that changes with the year rather than one summer afternoon that has to work in February.

What you get
Photographs from several angles, shot at 50 megapixels, retouched and supplied as high quality jpegs. Where you need them in a hurry, proofs can usually come back the same day as the shoot.
Web resolution versions and the RAW files are available if you want them.
What it costs
Photography starts at £150 for a single visit. A half day, which gives time for more angles and for the light to change, is £225.
Larger sites, or anywhere that needs more than one flight to cover properly, are quoted on the job. So is video, which takes longer to shoot and longer to edit.
Usage and licensing
Images are licensed for you to use on your own website, brochures, print and social media, for as long as you are trading.
Venues tend to need a bit more than that, because a wedding directory, a magazine or a visiting supplier will ask for images too. Tell us where they need to go and we will licence them for it.
We retain copyright so that we can use the images in our own portfolio. If you need copyright assigned, we are happy to discuss it, and if the shoot is confidential we will sign an NDA.
Weather, and getting the shot
Wind and heavy rain ground the aircraft, so a shoot can move by a day or two. Low cloud and flat light will not stop a flight but they will cost you the photograph, and on a building with any depth to it the light is most of the value.
We assess each site before we fly. Anywhere close to an airfield, a busy road or its neighbours is more constrained than open countryside, and it is better to know that beforehand than on the day.
Credentials and insurance
We hold an A2 Certificate of Competency and carry £5m public liability insurance as standard, with cover up to £10m on request.
We have been flying commercially since 2018, originally under a CAA Permission for Commercial Operations.
Where we cover
We are based just outside Buckingham and most work is within about half an hour, which covers Buckingham, Brackley, Winslow, Towcester, Stony Stratford, Bicester, Milton Keynes and Aylesbury.
We travel further for venue and heritage work, including into the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire. Get in touch and we will quote for it.
