What we’re filming right now
We’re currently filming along the river Great Ouse in Buckingham starting on 18th August, for a documentary about the river.

Who we are
We’re Granta Network Solutions, a commercial drone operator based in Buckingham. Flying since 2018, we create video and photography content for web, film and social media. Our work spans projects filming in areas of outstanding natural beauty like The Cotswolds and Cambridge, through to roof inspections on Heritage sites and supporting evidence for residents submitting planning applications. We take the same care whether it’s a Grade I listed building or a client’s back garden.
Flying safely and considerately
- Authorised and insured. We fly as a CAA-authorised drone operator, under full CAA rules at all times.
- Respectful height and distance. We don’t hover over private gardens or homes; our shots are composed from a height and angle that keeps a sensible distance from people’s property.
- Sensible hours. We generally film during daylight hours and avoid unreasonably early or late times unless we’ve agreed otherwise with anyone affected.
- No surprises. If we ever need to get closer (for example, launching or landing from your land), we’ll always ask first, in person or in advance.
What about my privacy?
We’re filming the landscape, not people. Our shots are wide, aiming to capture the natural scenery. We operate in strict compliance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Data Use and Access Act (DUAA) 2025.
